2009 - The Working Man series began upon arrival in the Netherlands and is based in honor of the working class of individuals that Kasparek worked closely with for eight years before his exit.

The set of five paintings is done in a thick, grises style foundation and then built upon with warm glazes providing an aged and antique final result. In order to speak in a more historic tone across the project, all of the characters depicted date from the 1920-30's.
