working man
2009 - The Working Man series began upon arrival in the Netherlands and is based in honor of the working class of individuals that I worked closely with for eight years before my exit. The set of five paintings is done in a thick, grises style foundation and then built upon with warm glazes providing an aged and antique final result. In order to speak in a more historic tone across the project, all of the characters depicted date from the 1920-30's.
